New Hampshire is great at a lot of things. From outdoor adventures to coastal fun in the summer, you can easily rank the state at the top of the list for plenty of activities and things to do. But one thing that often flies under the radar is the food scene. It may not be huge, but the options are enough to satisfy any craving. This is especially true if you’ve got a sweet tooth. The best pie in New Hampshire might just be located in Amherst and we encourage you to take a visit to try for yourself.
The Black Forest Cafe and Bakery in Amherst might be one of our favorite little bakeries in the state.
It's hard to pick a favorite from their list of homemade goodies, but if we had to choose we'd say that they might make the best pies in New Hampshire!
You'll be surprised at just how large the menu is. And when your food arrives you'll love how much care and attention is clearly put into the preparation.
And if you manage to save room for dessert while you're still inside, be sure to grab a slice of the pie that people drive out of their way to order. It's certainly t's worth it!
The Black Forest Cafe and Bakery is open Sunday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can learn more about the bakery by checking out their website and by following The Black Forest Cafe and Bakery on Facebook. They can be reached on 603-672-0500.
