Try Blueberry Pizza At This Remote New Hampshire Restaurant
The Great North Woods aren’t exactly known for fine restaurants or inventive cuisine — but don’t underestimate New Hampshire’s most remote region! There are a surprising number of good dining options North of the Notch, and Pittsburg has become the surprising home of one of the most creative menus in the Granite State.

The Burg hasn't been on the scene for too long, but it has already made its mark on the Great North Woods scene. Though it may not look like much from the outside, the simple exterior hides a real treasure within.
Of course, the menu is where this restaurant really shines. Somehow they elevate even the simplest menu items. It's constantly changing, but as an example, when they offered a burger it involved cheese, onion-bacon jam, and lettuce with parmesan-roasted garlic crispy potatoes.
One of the most unique items on their menu is indisputably the blueberry pizza, complete with smoked mozzarella, house bacon, and smoked maple syrup. It might sound strange, but don't knock it until you try it — this is one of those meals you'll keep thinking about and craving for months and years to come. If that doesn't strike your fancy, there are several other incredible and unique pizzas to choose from.
