If you’re looking for a place to buy all your holiday gifts this year and have a good time, consider the Scheels store in Sparks, Nevada. It’s unlike any store you’ve ever been in!
The Scheels sporting goods store in Sparks is ginormous! The store covers 295,000 square feet.
The store carries just about any type of sporting equipment and clothing that you can think of. According to Scheels, it is the world's largest sportings goods store.
The store has some amazing displays as well. There's a 35 foot tall "Wildlife Mountain" that covers 800 square feet. All types of animals are displayed life size, such as deer, bears, wolves, coyotes and more.
"The Walk of Presidents" includes 14 life-size wax sculptures of some of our most famous presidents, including Benjamin Franklin, Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
The store is definitely a more than just a shopping experience! You can relax after a day of fun with some of the delicious homemade fudge from the in-store restaurant, Gramma Ginna's.
