There’s A Restaurant On This Remote Wyoming Farm You’ll Want To Visit

What do you call a farm in a western state such as Wyoming? You guessed it.....it's pretty much a ranch. Guest ranches or farms are geared towards patrons and tourism which evolves into agritourism. Agritourism boils down to farm direct marketing and sustainable agriculture. That's why you'll want to visit this restaurant that's tucked away on this remote Wyoming ranch.

Turpin Meadow Ranch is a luxury dude ranch situated between Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. It's located at 24505 Buffalo Valley Road in the beautiful town of Moran.

The ranch offers outdoor activities, cozy accommodations and on-site dining. This restaurant is known for its farm-to-table dining.

The farm-to-table concept promotes serving local food and produce at restaurants through a local distributor or by the farm raising its own food.

That way, you know exactly where your food has come from. This whole concept arises from concerns about food safety, especially when it comes to genetically modified food and food sources such as animals that are treated with hormones and antibiotics.

The chef at the restaurant is Jason Welch. Some of his culinary creations include Tea Brined Fried Chicken Ballontine, Slow Cooked Beef Short Rib and Miso Marinated Copper River Salmon.

The menu pays tribute to local farmers and ranchers. What a great way to support small local producers.

Enjoy the breathtaking views of Teton Range while eating in the historic dining room designed with wood beams, a cozy fireplace and classy decor.

The restaurant is open to the public for lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner.
