Do you ever find yourself wondering, "What are some waterfalls near me in Wisconsin?" If so, you're not alone! While Wisconsin is home to numerous gorgeous cascades, they aren't always accessible. Many of them require major hiking excursions to access; or are super popular and thus very crowded; while other falls are hidden, seasonal gems that only flow after heavy rainfall. In other words, many of the beautiful waterfalls for which Wisconsin is famous, aren't accessible. However, there are exceptions to every rule; and in this case, the exception is Cascade Falls. The roaring waterfall is located smack dab in the middle of a charming small town, so accessing it couldn’t be easier. In fact, you can practically drive right up to it! Let's take a look...
A roaring and resplendent 25-foot-tall waterfall, Cascade Falls is an undeniably stunning sight to behold. Luckily, its location in downtown Osceola makes it easily accessible to all.
Located off Cascade Street and marked with a sign *and* life-size wood carving of Chief Osceola, the Wisconsin waterfall really could not be any easier to find.
The flowing fall can be viewed from afar; or, for a closer look, you can trek down a stairway which leads to the base of Cascade Falls.
Completely worth each and every step, you’ll be afforded incredible close-up views should you choose to take the stairs to the fall’s base. You’ll also be treated to some amazing photo ops, so make sure to have your camera charged and handy!
Beautiful throughout the seasons, Cascade Falls is a great visit year-round.
However, we are partial to this waterfall in the winter. After a cold, Wisconsin freeze, it becomes an enchanting, Frozen fairy tale!
Cascade Falls is also a great visit day and night, and that’s because in the evening, the waterfall is illuminated with color-changing LEDs!

Your adventure in Osceola, Wisconsin, doesn’t have to end with the waterfall, though.
There are several trails in the area, one of which leads from the waterfall to the St. Croix River.
