There are some trails that offer a little more – you just need to do a bit of climbing. In one of Wisconsin’s most beautiful state parks, there’s a trail that you won’t forget. The Bluff Trail in Wyalusing State Park is simply incredible. It’s perched on a towering bluff, has sweeping views, and stairs that lead to a hidden cave. Ready for a Wisconsin adventure? Here’s what’s waiting for you on the Bluff Trail.
Wyalusing State Park is a beautiful and popular state park located in southwestern Wisconsin.
It is known for its stunning natural landscapes, including scenic bluffs, deep river valleys, and the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers.
The park is situated near the town of Bagley in Grant County, Wisconsin. It covers an area of over 2,700 acres, and it’s beautiful.
One of the main draws of the park are its numerous scenic overlooks that afford breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
You can reach some without a hike, but to really experience the park, you may want to lace up your walking shoes.
The park features a network of hiking trails that cater to a range of skill levels.
The Bluff Trail offers a bit of a challenge, but the payoff is worth it.
The trail is a little under a mile in length, and you’ll get some views through the trees.
Be warned: There are a lot of stairs.
The trail will take you to an entrance of a cave in the bluff.
Some say the cave held treasure – if you’re brave, crawl inside!
