The waterfalls are so beautiful!
We're in awe. This is definitely a worthy destination.
Along High Falls Trail, you'll wander along some old railroad tracks.
Always exercise caution by railroad tracks! Safety first!
You'll take in some beautiful forest scenery.
You'll be pleased regardless of the month, thanks to West Virginia's changing seasons.
You'll also get some nice views! The trail has an elevation of 1,364 feet.
It's about 7.7 miles on this out and back trail, so you really get up there! It's rated as moderately difficult on AllTrails.
Keep an eye out for pretty wildflowers along the way.
And also keep an eye out for some wildlife! You never know what you'll see.
The trail will really let you absorb the peace and beauty of being out in nature.
And then, of course, you'll reach the falls.
They make that steep hike worth it! Aren't they so beautiful?
It truly feels like stumbling upon a hidden oasis.
This is the perfect spot to stop, catch your breath, and relax.
The trail is best used from April through October and is good for mountain biking, too! If you bring your dog, just remember to keep them on a leash. You can find out more on how to plan your hike by visiting this page.
