Take A Wild Drive Tour At Northwest Trek In Washington And View Wildlife From Your Car

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park offers a unique Wild Drive Tour for families to enjoy native wildlife while practicing social distancing.

We're gearing up for another beautiful summer here in Washington. And although we may be celebrating it a little differently this year, there are still plenty of ways to have fun while doing our part to keep our population healthy. Northwest Trek Wildlife Park has even created the most social distance-approved activity ever, and it also happens to be fun for the entire family. This summer, treat yourself to a Wild Drive Tour.

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park is located in Eatonville, a charming town in Pierce County about 35 miles from Tacoma.

The park is dedicated to conservation, education, and recreation of our native Northwest wildlife.

This beautiful park is home to more than 40 species of animals, all of them native to the Pacific Northwest.

From deer and elk to bugs and slugs, you never know what you'll see here.

The free-roaming area has elk, bison, caribou, deer, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, and moose spanning 435 acres.

The bears, birds, cats, and canines all have their own separate areas.

Typically, visiting this park would include taking a community tram tour, checking out the forest and wetland, and even going zip lining.

Unfortunately, the park had to close to the public for a while for everyone's safety. And while it's about to re-open, things will look a bit different for a while.

Northwest Trek has designed a Wild Drive Premier Tour, where guests can drive through the property from the safety of their own vehicles.

This way, you can have an adventurous day with your family while practicing social distancing.

This exciting drive is only being offered this summer, and you'll have to make reservations in advance.

The cost for this experience is $80 per vehicle, or $70 if you're already a member. A maximum of eight people per vehicle are allowed.

If you have little ones in your life, they'll love the Wild Drive — but this is a fantastic way for people of all ages to spend a summer day.

The Wild Drive Premier Tour is a unique experience you'll never forget.

Animal lovers, take the drive of your dreams this summer. Tickets are available here.
