The Enchanting Waterfront Washington Park You Never Knew Existed

If you love water views, Washington is the perfect place to live. From our stunning rivers and lakes to the Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean, we're surrounded by waterfront spots here.

Silverdale, a mid-sized city in Kitsap County, has an amazing and underrated waterfront park most people don't know about, but really should.

Silverdale Waterfront Park is located at 3337 NW Byron Street.

This 2-acre space is full of amenities and views.

You can rent a kayak or go paddleboarding...

... or stay on dry land and take in the views from the waterfront walking paths.

Little ones love the playground equipment.

And what kid wouldn't love this?

On a nice day, nothing tops a waterfront picnic.

You can even reserve the entire sheltered picnic area for $60 for 4 hours, which can accommodate 96 people.

During warmer months, local events are sometimes held at the park.

But really, there's never a bad time to go.

Silverdale's Waterfront Park is open daily from dawn to dusk. If you're in the area, it's a beautiful place to hang out. We also have some pretty amazing state parks here in Washington.
