A Trip Inside Vermont’s Frozen Cave Is Positively Surreal

You may not know it, but there are many caves in Vermont, and most of them aren't easy to find. We've found a few great videos of cave exploration in none other than Dorset, Vermont. Since it's winter, we thought we'd show you the inside of this frozen cave in Vermont from a YouTube video by barese420. If you're claustrophobic, you may want to stick to the video for this one! But if you are a major explorer, you just might be tempted to see it for yourself! As you will see, Aeolus Cave is a true adventure.

You'll need the right vehicle to get to this cave! Snow wheeling is serious business!

Pulling up to the entrance to the cave is surreal.

It's deceptively large!

This place is one of the best ice caves in Vermont. Once inside, you'll see icicles hanging from all over the ceilings.

And sometimes even growing up!

While the cave is stunning in its natural glory, we could certainly do without the graffiti.

We urge you to respect these spots throughout Vermont and keep them litter-free.
