Today, our adventure is going to take us to the impressive and beautiful Toquerville Falls, a tiered waterfall and natural swimming hole in southern Utah. Believe us, this destination needs to be on your summer bucket list.
Toquerville Falls is beautiful in every way. You will find this waterfall and natural swimming hole in southern Utah.
One of the best features of this waterfall is that you don’t have to hike for miles in the hot southern Utah sun to reach it. You can drive right to this waterfall and natural swimming hole!
To find this summer destination, travel north from St. George for approximately 20 miles. You will take the Toquerville exit. Continue on this road for approximately two more miles until you reach Spring Drive. Follow Spring Drive for 3.5 miles until you come to a fork in the road. Stay right and you’ll eventually reach the falls.
However, we recommend you have a high-clearance vehicle as the road can be quite rough and very bumpy.
Once you reach Toquerville Falls, you’ll be glad you made the drive. This tiered waterfall in Utah is perfect for playing and surrounding yourself with southern Utah beauty.
Plus, the water flows off the sandstone cliffs into a large natural swimming hole. It really is the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day.
Be aware that these falls can become quite busy, especially during the weekends and on holidays. If you want to enjoy these falls and the swimming hole without the crowds, we suggest visiting during non-peak hours and days.
Make sure to bring plenty of drinking water and sun protection. You will experience full sun exposure during your entire visit as there is very little shade.
