Sweetwater Valley Farm can be found in Philadelphia, Tennessee, a town that has quite a bit of historic significance on its own. Philadelphia was the southernmost town that was controlled by Union Forces during the Civil War, and Sweetwater Valley Farm is located right in the heart of it. The land was originally settled in the early 1800s.

The farm itself can be found right in the heart country of Tennessee. The rolling hills and lush foliage make for a beautiful view any time of year.

The original dairy farm was built on the land in 1917 and has been passed off to several owners over the course of the 20th century. It was in 1992 that John and Celia Harrison purchased the dairy farm in full, and their Tennessee dream has taken off.

The Harrisons started focusing on cheese in 1998, and their cheese operation has only grown in recent years. There are over 1,500 dairy cows on the Sweetwater Valley Farm property, and every block and round of dairy goodness is made with freshly sourced milk from the farm.

Sweetwater Valley Farm hosts a series of tours throughout the year, and also has a cafe that serves everything from milkshakes to grilled cheeses and dessert bars. Their online shop is expansive as well, offering cheeses, jams, honey, and gift boxes for purchase if you can't make it out to the farm.

Flavors like adobo, chipotle, and buttermilk cheddar are available in-store and online, and you can even buy a multi-bar gift box set if you can't decide on just one flavor. Yum!
