If You Live in Pennsylvania, You’ll Want to Visit This Amazing Park This Winter

Make your winter epic with a trip to Camelback Ski Resort. It's the best place to go snow tubing in Pennsylvania and enjoy other fun winter activities.

For some of us, winter in Pennsylvania means curling up under a warm blanket and sitting in front of a roaring fire. Honestly, that sounds perfect to me! Then, of course, you've got the outdoor enthusiasts who know the cold weather and snowstorms mean only one thing: tons of outdoor winter fun! This year, we invite you to zip down the lanes at one of the country's largest snow tube parks when you visit Camelback Mountain Resort. It’s one of our favorite places to go snow tubing in Pennsylvania. If you ask me, this is one winter activity in the Poconos that is worth bundling up for.

Feel as though you've stepped into a winter wonderland when you arrive at the snow-capped Camelback Mountain Resort in Tannersville, home to one of the largest snow tubing parks in the United States.

Start your winter adventure on one of the 42 - yes, 42! - lanes that slide down Camelback Mountain. Zip down steep lanes that will make you catch your breath and, when your stomach starts growling, grab a bite to eat from the on-site food truck. Or sink your teeth into a hearty helping of waffles as you warm up by a roaring fire. While snow tubing may be the main attraction at Camelback Mountain, you may also want to jump in the driver's seat on the Mountain Coaster, and cruise down the side of a snow-covered Camelback Mountain.

Or go snowboarding. Visit one of Camelback Mountain's terrain parks, where you can test your skills on challenging trails designed specifically for skiers and riders.

If you prefer something a little more demure, climb aboard a ski lift, as snow flutters down, to take you back up to the ski slopes after you've sashayed down one of the slopes which is fun for the entire family. Then end the day snow tubing under the stars followed by lounging next to a cozy fire pit before heading home or to your room at the Camelback Mountain Resort. This sounds like the perfect day of winter fun to me!

The park opens in mid-December for another year of winter fun! Learn more on the official website of Camelback Mountain Resort or stop by the Camelback Resort Facebook page.
