There’s A Sloth Farm In Oregon And You’re Going To Love It

Did you know that you can get up close and personal with sloths right here in Oregon? Over 300 of these cute little creatures call The Zoological Wildlife Conservation Sloth Center their home. While this isn't your average zoo (guests have to make reservations over 24 hours in advance and complete a waiver form), it does offer a unique opportunity to learn about and interact with these fascinating exotic animals. Located in Rainier, Oregon, the Zoological Wildlife Conservation Center is home to one of the most unique exotic animal sanctuaries in the state.

The Sloth Center cares for the largest population of long-term, actively reproducing captive adult sloths in North America.

Visitors to the center can learn and interact with the sloths through a variety of enrichment experiences.

In the 40-minute Sloth Feed and Educational Encounter, you can feed and gently pet the center's Ambassador Sloths.

The Sloth Sleepover is a one-of-a-kind experience where you can actually spend the night in a room with the sloths.

During the sleepover, you can feed the sloths cucumbers and observe their fascinating natural behaviors.

Connecting with these sweet creatures is an experience that belongs on any animal lover's bucket list.
