The Bauman’s Harvest Festival In Oregon Is A Classic Fall Tradition
Bauman’s Harvest Festival offers a variety of autumn activities including a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and farm store with seasonal treats.
As the weather starts to get chilly and the leaves begin to turn, we look forward to autumn and the traditions of the season. The Bauman's Harvest Festival is one of our favorites, and it's going on right now. Check it out:
Now that fall has arrived, it's time to visit Bauman's Farm and Garden for the annual Harvest Festival.
You'll find the farm at 12989 Howell Prairie Road NE, Gervais, OR 97026.
The pumpkin patch is bursting with ripe pumpkins ready for the picking. Head out to the field to find your favorite.
There's no admission price to explore the pumpkin patch - you'll just pay for the pumpkin, based on its weight.
The corn maze is a family favorite. It covers more than three acres, and costs just $5 per person.
Kids ages two and younger can explore free of charge with a paying adult.
During the 2020 season, all visitors are required to wear masks and practice social distancing to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Yes - you'll need to wear your mask even out in the pumpkin patch or corn maze! Farm employees will be on hand to make sure that everyone is following the rules and being considerate of others.
After you've thoroughly explored the farm, head on into the farm store, where you'll find all kinds of unique decor items and tasty treats.
The farm grows more than 40 varieties of apples! To help you choose some of your favorites, you can order a custom apple tasting kit that includes four apple varieties of your choice. We highly recommend a jar of homemade caramel sauce for dipping.
Other fresh treats include hot, tasty apple cider donuts, kettle corn, hand-dipped corndogs, and apple cider and cider slushies.
You'll also want to take a gallon of fresh cider or juice home.
Bauman's Harvest Festival runs from now through October 31st. The farm is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Check out this video that the farm posted on its YouTube channel to help you prepare for this year's festival:
