There's nothing like strolling through a peaceful field of lavender on a sunny day. Unknown to many, there are multiple lavender fields in Ohio that make for gorgeous day trip destinations. Lavender Trails in Orrville, Ohio is one of the largest lavender farms in the state, featuring more than a mile of colorful and fragrant lavender plants. It's a serene seasonal destination the whole family will enjoy visiting.

Tucked away in the rolling hills of Ohio Amish Country, you'll find Wayne County's very first lavender farm.

Lavender Trails is located along Collins Blvd. in Orrville, Ohio.

With over a mile of lavender, this small family lavender field in Ohio is especially unique. There are 11 different species of lavender being grown here, including white, pink, and several shades of purple. You'll fall in love while strolling through the diamond-shaped gardens!

You'll spot lavender in shades of purple, white and even pink at Lavender Trails.

The farm typically opens for u-pick season in June, with set hours for visitors to stroll through and enjoy the lavender fields.

Bring your camera or cell phone because there are plenty of photo opportunities and you're going to want to check out to remember your beautiful day on the farm.

But you'll also want to return time and time again to enjoy some of the many special events that take place throughout the season like Lavender Yoga!
