You’ll Have Loads Of Fun At This Dairy Farm In Ohio With Incredible Ice Cream And Cheese Curds

Sometimes, it can be difficult to find a day trip destination the whole family will love.

Tucked away in the charming small town of Yellow Spings, you’ll find Young’s Jersey Dairy—and it’s so much more than a dairy farm. While the freshly made ice cream and mouthwatering cheese curds will certainly entice you to check it out, it’s all the other fun things you can do at Young’s Jersey Dairy that will make you stay awhile. When you see the happy looking cow atop the welcome sign, you know you've made it to the right place.

You'll find it at 6880 Springfield-Xenia Rd., Yellow Springs, OH 45387.

Since this is a working dairy farm, there are plenty of farm animals to pet while you're here, (which we know kids love.)

Each day, around 4:30 or 5:30 p.m., you can watch the cows being milked by dairy staff.

There are even two miniature golf courses for the whole family to enjoy together. (And a driving range for dad to practice his swing.)

Children ages 5 - 11 can play for $6.25 and ages 12 and up can play for $7.25.

Kids can also enjoy a barrel ride around the farm aboard the Moovers and Shakers ride.

While you're here, don't forget to ride Cowvin's Fast Slide (which requires a minimum height of 42" to ride.)

But the real crowd pleaser is really the homemade ice cream, of course.

All the ice cream here is made right on the farm with a 15% butterfat mix, which makes it rich and creamy.

Youngs Jersey Dairy has everything from German Chocolate Ice Cream to creative confections that will make your mouth water just looking at them, like The Buckeye Sundae (pictured here.)
