Marvel At The Enormous Handmade Lanterns At The Chinese Lantern Festival At Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden In North Carolina
Seasonal events in North Carolina are returning to the calendar this fall. Haunted hayrides, corn mazes, apple picking dates, and more are all bringing a sense of much appreciated normalcy for North Carolinians by simply taking place. One of them, a Chinese Lantern Festival, promises to light up your night with an array of hand-crafted, enormous Chinese lanterns illuminating the already beautiful gardens at Daniel Stowe.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is located at 6500 S New Hope Rd, Belmont, NC 28012, where it has been since opening to the public in 1999.
The garden encompasses 380 acres of rolling meadows as well as a forest and even some waterfront property.
And this year, beginning on October 15th, the gardens will be filled with an assortment of brightly-lit, hand-made Chinese lanterns in the form of flora and fauna, and more.
The gates open for this event on Wednesday through Sunday evenings beginning at 6 p.m on October 15 and at 5 p.m beginning on November 11, 2020.
In addition to the Chinese lantern displays and admission to the gardens for this special evening event. your admission ticket also includes special, authentic Chinese performances, and free crafts for the kids. Food and beverages will be available, but those are an additional cost. (You can also bring a cooler of our own if you like!)

Ticket prices include parking. A substantial savings is available for purchasing online in advance. But you can also purchase tickets at the door on the afternoon of your arrival. Chinese Lantern Festival tickets do not include daytime admission to the garden.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is located approximately 30 minutes outside of Charlotte.
