Located near Accord, New York, in Minnewaska State Park, Awosting Falls Connection Trail is a shorter loop trail, clocking in at about 1.1 miles. However, this trail will bring you to quite the view.
Awosting Falls is 60 feet tall and feeds the Peterskill stream.
When you start the Awosting Falls hike, you should be able to hear the stream off to your left shortly after beginning. Keep an ear out to confirm you are on the right path.
You can continue straight on the trail, or your can branch off a bit early to reach the top of Awosting Falls for a view from above before you head back to the usual trail.
