South Jersey has the beaches, North Jersey has the mountains, and boy do we have mountains. These mountains in New Jersey may not be massive, but they are surely magnificent. Both views of the mountains and atop the mountains are breathtaking all year long. There is so much natural beauty to be found, just check out these incredible scenes.

1. Scotts Mountain, Warren County

2. Allamuchy Mountain, Allamuchy

One of our favorite New Jersey mountains, this scenic shot near the top of Allumuchy Mountain highlights the beauty of having four seasons.

You can see several mountains in New Jersey from this lovely valley including Danville Mountain on the right, Allamuchy Mountain to the left, and Upper Pohatcong Mountain in the distance.

Mount Tammany is the southernmost peak of the Kittatinny Mountains and lies along the Appalachian Trail. Mount Minsi can be seen in the distance.

The peaks along the Delaware Water Gap are some of the most stunning in our state. The magical views are the start of something spectacular, the starting point of the Appalachian Trail in New Jersey. Hike this trail for incredible views all the way up to Maine or down to Georgia.

It's hard to beat the views along the Delaware Water Gap. They are some of the highest peaks in our state, providing views for miles. Of course, we can't forget the views from High Point, either.
