Welcome to The Windlass, located at Nolan’s Point on Lake Hopatcong.

This year-round restaurant has been sitting at its beautiful spot since the 1800s when tourism began growing at the lake. Originally part of an amusement park, the restaurant has both evolved and stayed the same. It leaves guests with a feeling of nostalgia, while also creating a contemporary feel.

And while the history is interesting, it's the views that captivate most people! Sitting outside when its warm means experiencing a great breeze with expansive views.

When the weather is cooler or the patio is packed, you can choose to sit inside. The views from the windows are just as breathtaking.

And if you're inside you'll have access to the nautical-themed boat bar.

You'll have plenty to choose from if you can tear yourself away from the views long enough to order, including laid-back dishes like this burger.
