You Might Not Like These Predictions About New Hampshire’s Upcoming Peak Allergy Season
Spring in New Hampshire offers great outdoor activities but also brings allergy season, with a forecast map to help plan around it.
It's springtime in New Hampshire and that means getting outside and appreciating everything that the Granite State has to offer in the way of trails, forests, beaches and breezes. But, with the change in season comes a few things that aren't perfect. A few more thunderstorms and, worst of all, allergy season! Below you'll find an Accuweather map showing peak allergy season across the northeast to better plan for your outdoor activities.
Granite Staters are no stranger to allergies in the springtime. In fact, many of us prepare for it ahead of time.
But, thanks to this this map forecasting allergy season we've got a better idea of when we should be avoiding the outdoors. Or, at the very least when we should be stocking up on extra allergy medication.
But we can expect the pollen to hit fast and furious from April through the start of June.
According to this year's allergy forecast, the northeast region will (thankfully!) see slow start to things, which will postpone the onset of serious allergy symptoms.
Enjoy the next week or so will see just some light pollen, but in April and May we might actually be able to see the pollen collecting on surfaces in some areas.
By the time we hit June, the pollen count will be significantly lower and our eyes should be watering less.
If this is worrisome, just be thankful we're not further south. Looks like the mid-atlantic states will have it much worse!
