This Nighttime Cave Tour In New Hampshire Is Only For The Adventurous

Discover the breathtaking beauty and hiking opportunities at Yosemite National Park.

New Hampshire is full of great natural adventures, but most of them have to be enjoyed while the sun is shining. However, one nighttime New Hampshire attraction will bring you to scurry through caves and walk through the woods, all in the dark. This tour isn't for the faint of heart, but if you love adventure you won't want to miss it!

Lost River Gorge in North Woodstock is one of the most beloved tourist attractions in New Hampshire.

However, when you've visited, it's probably looked like this. The series of caves and waterfalls is great for exploring during the day.

However, few people realize that when the sun goes down, Lost River has a whole new life.

Lantern Tour will take you through the amazing natural scenery in the dark, allowing you to see the New Hampshire wilderness in a whole new way.

It takes a special kind of bravery to slip into the tight caves in the dark, with nothing but a headlamp to guide your way.

However, the night tours are truly thrilling. Slipping through New Hampshire caves in the dark is an experience that only the most adventurous New Hampshirites have had.

The Lantern Tour operates on Saturday nights, and takes about two hours. The tour begins at dusk. And the very last lantern tour of 2016 is happening this week, on October 15.

So get out for one more New Hampshire night adventure before the 2016 season is officially over. And then, end the night in the most New Hampshire way ever - with s'mores and a camp fire!

Check out this video that will show you more about the Lantern Tour.
