9 New Hampshire Farm Stands You’ll Want To Visit This Summer

With farmers markets popping up in practically every town and more and more grocery stores carrying local produce, it's becoming easier to get plenty of fresh New Hampshire grown fruits and veggies. Even so, there's something special about going straight to the source. Luckily, New Hampshire has plenty of fantastic farm stands, ranging from tiny lean-tos at the side of the road to operations that are practically stores in their own right. Here are a few of our favorites.

1. LaValley Farm, Hookset

LaValley Farm is a 60 acre operation growing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that they sell in their farm stand. The stand also carries New Hampshire baked goods, syrup, and more. In the spring, they also have a greenhouse selling gorgeous flowers. You'll find it at 1801 Hooksett Road, Hooksett, NH 03106.

2. McQuesten Farm, Litchfield

This farm stand sticks out for some additional draws beyond the food - they have goats, peacocks, chickens, bunnies, and more to pet and visit with. Of course, the produce, honey, and more is also perfect. Stop by at 334 Charles Bancroft Hwy Litchfield, NH 03052.

3. Sherman Farm, Conway

Sherman Farm's market is open year-round - in the summer, they stock it full of fresh produce, but you can always find their own milk (in glass bottles!), beef and pork raised on the farm, and a wide variety of products from other local businesses ranging from ice cream to free range chicken. 4. Peters' Farm, Salem

This lovely stand sells fresh, tasty produce at very reasonable prices. Just make sure to bring cash, since they don't accept cards. You'll find it at 1 Cross St., Salem, NH 03079.

5. Lull Farm, Hollis

This Hollis farm has a market on site that's open year round, as well as a seasonal outpost in Milford. They offer a wide range of produce from their own farm as well as other local growers, and you simply have to try their baked goods. Visit their Hollis location at 65 Broad St Hollis, NH 03049.

6. Pete's Stand, North Walpole

This seasonal operation selling locally grown fruits and vegetables is a charming favorite. Find them on Rt 12 North Walpole, NH 03609.

7. J&F Farms, Derry

This Derry farm has a year round stand selling produce, eggs, beef, flowers, and more. They also offer pick your own and a corn maze in the fall. Stop by at 124 Chester Rd, Derry, NH 03038.

8. Green Wagon Farm, Keene

This seasonal produce market sells a variety of locally grown produce from June-October. You'll find it on Court Street in Keene, next to the 7-11.

9. White Cedar Farm, Kingston

White Cedar Farm keeps their farmstand opens all year-round, and focuses on sustainably grown produce. They also sell local meat and eggs, and you'll often see some pretty adorable cats wandering around. Visit at 35 Powwow River Rd Kingston NH, 03848.
