King Ravine Trail offers some of the most beautiful views, but it's not without a challenge.

The looped route is about 8.7 miles and is likely to take more than 6 hours.

The route is considered challenging, but if you're experienced this journey will lead you to some serious beauty.

While many people hike the trail to reach the summit of Mount Adams we love the waterfall along the way.

To reach it you'll want to take Lowe's Path Trailhead on Route 2. Follow Lowe's path for about 1.8 miles, then take King's Ravine Trail toward the left.

The waterfall is beautiful, but the journey is just as special.

And there are lots of fun nooks and crannies you explore while you make your way to the falls, so be sure to take you adventurous time!

As a looped trail, just continue on the route towards the spot you started.

The King Ravine Trail can be visited year-round, but most people think it's best between May and October. Remember that this is considered a challenging trail so you'll want to have at least some hiking experience. You can learn more about the trail by checking out this page on alltrails.com.
