Those not familiar with New England might think we're all nautical motifs and coast. The reality is not exactly that. New Hampshire has less than 20 miles of ocean coast. The beach, which is totally free to enjoy, is on the banks of Lake Winnipesaukee.

Running about a quarter-mile along the lake, this boardwalk offers some of the most beautiful views in the state.
But it's also good for food and drinks. You'll find plenty of restaurants, bars and snack shops to fuel your visit.
Visit during bike week and you're likely to find tons of crowds.
But, most of the time this beautiful boardwalk is calm, fun and full of things to do and see!
Visit, stroll, have a bite and be sure to appreciate that view. It's not like any other in the state!
