You’ll Want To Visit Foxglove Flower Farm, A Dreamy Oasis In Montana This Spring
While parts of the Treasure State remain dusted with snow, there's no denying that spring is on the horizon. And while most Montanans have various spring traditions, we can all agree that there's no better way to welcome the season than by enjoying the fresh flowers that will begin to bloom. And you won't find a better place for that than Foxglove Flower Farm.
Foxglove Flower Farm is located just outside of Bozeman.
This local, naturally-grown flower farm is a local treasure.
If you live in Gallatin County, you may have seen Foxglove's bouquets at your local Farmers Market or another event.
They're often spotted at the Bogert Farmers' Market, which is held in Lindley Park from June - September.
Throughout the year, the team works hard to prepare for and manage each growing season.
This means growing flowers without the use of chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or GMO crops.
The goal here is to culture a farm system that mimics the natural ecosystem to promote plant and animal biodiversity, soil health, and productivity.
This means that the bees do a lot of the work here (and are well taken care of).
While the farm does allow visitors, their U-Pick visits are seasonal, and appointments are recommended.
When the flowers bloom, an open u-pick is available every Friday from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. You can also make an appointment on the website or by calling (406) 404-6707.
Another way to support this lovely farm is to sign up for CSA (community supported agricultural) shares.
This means you'll have access to beautiful flowers you won't find in grocery stores. You can pick up your bundles or sign up for local delivery.
Montanans are also welcome to stop by the Farm Store and pick up some delicious farm-fresh eggs.
Foxglove leases land from Three Hearts Farm, and they've teamed up to raise happy chickens that produce healthy eggs.
Foxglove Flower Farm will open for U-Pick later this spring when their beautiful flowers start to bloom.
Budding florists, take note: This is your time to shine.
