Breathtaking views. Meandering through Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, the 2.8-mile trail snags an easy rating, making it fun if you have little ones.

Hikers gush about the views from overlooks - and if you peek through the trees - along this popular trail. However, before you set off, keep a few things in mind.

If you're hiking in the warmer months, you'll pass colorful wildflowers. That also means the bugs will be out in full force. Wear and bring bug spray, and keep an eye out for ticks.

You'll likely travel through muddy terrain, so opt for shoes you don't mind getting messy.

The wooded path will also take you to a clear creek, where the trees mirror off of the water.

But this trail is perhaps best known for one thing: The views. Whether you visit at the height of fall foliage, after a fresh snowfall, or in the green months, you must bring a camera.
