The Roark Creek Waterfall Trail In Missouri Will Lead You Straight To A Magnificent Waterfall

If you're up for a bit of a challenge that's rewarded with a beautiful waterfall, set off on this waterfall trail in Missouri.

Set aside at least a few hours for your trek along the Waterfall Trail in Branson, which will take you through lush green and to a spectacular waterfall.

The 1.8-mile trail is rated moderate and winds along Roark Creek, so be prepared for some challenges, including rocky terrain.

Wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, which should help on the rocky terrain. In addition, the trail becomes pretty muddy when the creek swells and after a rainfall.

You'll also have to cross over the creek several times during your hike. However, the challenges you face along the way are definitely worth the waterfall views.

The largest waterfall is certainly the main attraction of the hike, but you'll also see several smaller waterfalls along the trail, too.

If you've got plenty of time, bring lunch with you. You can find a spot on a rock nearby the waterfall to eat and to enjoy the views.

Unlike other waterfalls, you don't have to worry about visiting after a rainfall as this is one waterfall that never runs dry.

The waterfall features a pump to ensure the waterfall flows no matter how dry the weather becomes.
