Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton is perhaps best known for its majestic castle ruins, which you'll pass on the half-mile Dell Rim Trail.

However, the highlight of this trail is the emerald sinkhole, Whispering Dell Sinkhole.

Although the trail is rated easy, you will have to climb some stairs to reach the sinkhole.

There is a boardwalk that is wheelchair accessible and leads to a scenic overlook of Whispering Dell.

Take a minute or two, too, to check out the educational placard near Whispering Dell, which explains the phenomenon of sinkholes.

Dell Rim Trail is definitely camera-worthy. In addition to Whispering Dell, it features such gorgeous scenery as a water tower and Ha Ha Tonka Spring.

Dogs are permitted on the Dell Rim Trail, as long as they remain on a leash. The trail is popular, so it can get pretty busy, especially on nice days.
