The Mississippi Pumpkin Patch Where You Can Also Take A Hay Ride

Nothing says "fall in Mississippi" like a hay ride or visit to a pumpkin patch. Oftentimes, you’ll find both in one locale – and that’s exactly the case with Bull Bottom Farms, well, sort of. The farm does feature hay rides and a pumpkin patch; however, that’s not all it has. Visitors can enjoy a slew of seasonal festivities – and then some, which is why Bull Bottom Farms is an ideal place to celebrate fall in Mississippi.

Bull Bottom Farms loves fall, y’all! And if you don’t already love fall in Mississippi, you will after you visit the farm, which is tucked away in Duck Hill, MS.

Established in 1944, Bull Bottom Farms is a real-working farm – complete with resident animals and rows of crops.

Fortunately, the farm opens to the public in the spring and the fall. Each season brings with it an array of fun activities.

In fall, the farm is always open to the public on the last weekend of September, every weekend in October, and the first weekend of November.

A great visit for all ages, the farm features tons of exciting attractions and activities, which run the gamut from classic fall festivities to more unique options, like a mini Wild West town.

As far as classic fall fun goes, there’s a twisting and turning corn maze and scenic hay ride.

The hay ride is a great way to take in the sights of the farm, especially since it stops by the farm’s pumpkin patch.

Packed with hordes of gourds in all shapes, sizes, and colors, the pumpkin patch at Bull Bottom Farms is a great place to search for the perfect pumpkin.

Your time at Bull Bottom Farms doesn’t have to come an end after navigating the corn maze, taking a hay ride, and selecting a pumpkin, though.

Like we said before, the farm features lots of other fun attractions and activities, including a cow train, pig races, an animal park, slides, play areas, a giant jumping pillow, and lots more.

The farm also includes an on-site store, where you can pick up t-shirts, gifts, and snacks.

There's no doubt about it. If you want to make the most of fall in Mississippi, you've got to visit Bull Bottom Farms! For more information, call the farm at (662) 614-5746. You can also visit the Bull Bottom Farms website. And don’t forget to like Bull Bottom Farms on Facebook for more information on seasonal events and festivities.

Not far from Bull Bottom Farms, you’ll find another small town gem, Old Mountain Outdoor Adventure Park. Also a great visit during fall in Mississippi, the park is home to obstacle courses, hiking trails, and other activities. It also includes an aerial net obstacle course, which was only the second of its kind in the U.S. at the time of its construction.
