There’s No Better Place For A Bike Ride In Mississippi Than The Clear Creek Trail

Ready for an unforgettable bike ride? Then you won’t be disappointed with a visit to the Clear Creek Trail. One of the best bike trails in the state, it boasts switchbacks, rolling hills, and a few obstacles. And since it’s made up of three sections – beginner, intermediate, and expert – it’s suitable for bikers of varying abilities.

Dubbed one of the “best biking trails in north Mississippi,” the Clear Creek Trail is located near Oxford.

A favorite for avid bikers, the trail has lots of slopes, dips, and hills. There are also a few trail obstacles, like small logs.

It’s a challenging trek and not for lightweights. At 13.5 miles, it’s lengthy, too. However, those who put forth the effort won’t be disappointed.

Winding through the forests that surround Sardis Lake, riders are treated to some great views. Wildflowers, greenery, and even mushrooms dot the landscape.

There’s wildlife, too.

Like we mentioned before, Clear Creek Trail is broken up into three sections – beginner, intermediate, and expert.

The beginner trail is 3 miles, while the intermediate is 8 miles. The expert route is the entire 13.5-mile trail.

As an added bonus, Clear Creek Recreation Area is near the trail, so you can turn your pedaling excursion into a camping adventure.
