Throughout The Month Of September, You Can Book A Sloth Encounter At This Mississippi Park For Just $35

Offering visitors the chance to interact with sloths, Hattiesburg Zoo’s sloth encounters are typically booked up for months. Luckily, there’s another option for sloth-related fun – and it’s the sloth encounters at Wild Acres. During the encounter, you’ll get to spend some time with the park’s adorable sloth, Sammy. Read on for all the details.

One of Mississippi’s newest wildlife parks, Wild Acres is located in the unincorporated community of McHenry.

As a hands-on discovery park, Wild Acres offers plenty of opportunities to interact with animals.

Just last month, the park added sloth encounters to its repertoire of offerings.

During the encounter, you’ll get to interact with Sammy, the park’s resident two-toed sloth.

What’s more, the encounters are just $35 (per person) on weekdays throughout the month of September!

Keep in mind, sloth encounters have a 4-person minimum and must be booked in advance.

Make the most out of your time at Wild Acres by topping off your sloth encounter with a private tour of the park. Private tours are just $30 per person and must be scheduled in advance.
