Now that Labor Day is over, we can set our sights on fall – and all the seasonal fun that comes along with it. Corn mazes are without a doubt one of the best activities of the season. And while there are several great mazes in the Magnolia State, you’ll find one of the biggest at Seward Farms. Spanning eight acres and filled with twists and turns, it’s the most fun you’ll ever have being lost. Take a look:
Seward Farms is located in Lucedale, MS. It’s a real working farm, but each fall it turns into a seasonal wonderland, where you’ll find family fun, fresh air, and a twisting corn maze.
The 2018 fall season begins September 29th and ends November 3rd.
Get ready to put your navigation skills to the test. The 8-acre maze is made up of dense, green corn and lots of twists and turns.
A great family activity, visitors of all ages will have a blast trying to find the way out.
And with a maze that changes each season, Seward Farms is a great visit year after year.
On select nights during the fall season, the corn maze becomes much spookier as it’s transformed into the Field of Fright. Filled with eerie surprises and frightening sites, it’s perfect for some hair-raising fun.
The Field of Fright is open: October 13th, 20th, and 27th.
The seasonal activities don’t end with the farm’s mazes, though. Hayrides and a cow train are also part of the fall festivities.
There’s even a play area, complete with a giant jumping pillow for some high-flying fun.
The farm’s version of a pumpkin patch, the Pumpkin Barn, opens in October. Step inside, and you’ll find a huge selection of "perfect pumpkins."
On October 27th, the fun is kicked up a notch with Trick or Treat Day. Stop by for the annual event and you can take part in the fall fun mentioned above and meet your favorite cartoon characters.
Seward Farms is located at 10836 Tanner Williams Rd., Lucedale, MS 39452. During the fall season (Sept. 29th – Nov. 3rd), it’s open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. For more information, call (228) 641-3936. You can also visit the farm’s website or Facebook page.
