You’ll Be Pleased To Hear That Minnesota’s Upcoming Winter Is Supposed To Be More Mild Than Last Year’s

With summer in full swing, it's hard to imagine the Land of 10,000 Lakes as frozen and snowy. But winter is coming, and it'll be here before we know it. Luckily for Minnesotans, the Old Farmer's Almanac has released its predictions for the winter of 2018-2019, and we think Minnesotans will be pleased with what they have to say. Read on for predictions about the coming winter.

Minnesotans who dread freezing cold will be happy to learn that the almanac predicts a milder than usual winter.

The coldest periods will be most of December into January and late January into February.

Snowfall will be normal or even below normal. If you're a Minnesotan who loves to hit the slopes or take out the snowmobile, you may find fewer opportunities to do that this year.

The snowiest months will be late November into the middle of December. Heavy snowfall may also hit Minnesota in March.

Despite the milder than usual snowfall and weather, we may still be in for another late spring. April and May are predicted to be cooler and wetter than usual.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to a milder than usual winter, or would you prefer lots of snow and cold? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
