You Can Help Put Sleepy Baby Goats To Bed At The Beautiful Sunflower Farm In Maine

Visiting a farm is always a fun day trip in Maine. Especially since there are so many great ones to explore. We have classic Maine farms and farms that are perfect for winter fun. We also love farms that whisk us off into pumpkin patches in the fall and those that let us pick our own flowers in the summer. But when we heard about a unique activity at Sunflower Farm Creamery, we decided that this might be our new favorite farm experience!

The magical charm of the farm brings people in from all over the state but you won't find a crowded, frantic place. Instead, you will find the most adorable goats ready for you to play with and hold.

Sunflower Farm Creamery in Cumberland is kind of a lot like Disney World...

... that is if your version of the happiest place on earth is wide open spaces, adorable animals, and the absolute nicest farmers on earth. To us, that's pretty much perfection. And if you're a Mainer, visiting doesn't include a plane ticket, expensive mouse ears, and a hotel stay.

Sunflower Farm's goal is to operate in a way that those who love animals can feel good and one visit during bedtime makes that clear.

This is one of those places where you will get a chance to become fully immersed with a herd of goats, and what is not to love about that?

The farm raises goats and each one has their very own personality. Not only does the farm know the name of each and every one (of course!), but they also understand what each one needs to thrive.

The care that goes into each individual goat is heartwarming and an excellent place to be around. From babies, all the way up, these goats have the best life our hoofed friends could ask for.

Visiting the goats is always fun, but we especially love the Put The Babies To Bed event that allows visitors to take part in their bedtime routine.

Just look at this cuddly little guy. These baby goats are beyond adorable. How could you say no to helping these little ones fall asleep after a long day of playing?

Each night that this fun event takes place, 20 visitors can take seats on one of ten hay bales to listen to the goats fall asleep to the sounds of Skip, Leap, Boom, the new board book from the farm.

Before they can settle down for the night, guests can play with the baby goats at this charming Maine farm. You can run, skip, and play with these friendly babies and have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to care for these affectionate animals.

Visitors will also be able to snuggle the goats just before they head to bed.

Just when you thought these creatures couldn't get any cuter... take a look at how adorable it is to see baby goats in pajamas!

This is a great way to make sure some sweet baby goats get sent to bed peacefully, while also winding down yourself.
