The Holiday On The Farm Event In Maine That’s Straight Out Of A Hallmark Christmas Movie

Each year when the holidays roll around, we find ourselves looking for fun events to attend throughout the state. There's something about Christmas in Maine that adds something special to this time of year, and it's easy to find ways to celebrate. One of the most lovely ways to celebrate Christmas in Maine is with a visit to River Winds Farm & Estates in Saco for the annual Holiday On the Farm with Santa & Mrs. Claus event.

This year the holiday-loving duo will arrive on Sunday, December 19th for an afternoon of cheer and merriment meant to be enjoyed by all ages.

The event, which runs from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., features a choral concert by the Thornton Academy chorus.

Visitors can also enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the farm with Santa at the helm ready to talk gifts with anyone who's ready!

The event is made even more fun with hot cocoa and a s'mores bar to enjoy with some added sweetness.

We love that this annual meet-and-greet is small, offering a more special experience to those in attendance.
