Get Ready For Some High Flying Fun When This Family Friendly Adventure Park In Maine Finally Opens For The Season

Maine was basically made for family fun! From beach trips to hiking adventures, there's no better place in America to have fun with those you love. And, of course, friends are included in this group of people we love. Throughout the year, it's easy to find activities to enjoy but we're always on the lookout for those we haven't tried yet. This one, a high-flying (but totally kid-friendly!) adventure park opens for the season each spring and we always look forward to it.

Take Flight Aerial Adventure Park in Kittery is so large and impressive that it can be seen right from the road. So, there's a good chance you've already see it and wondered just what it was.

The answer is easy. It's the most fun you can have with family and friends without finding beach parking or hitting a trail!

The park offers a huge adventure course with more than 65 activities including catwalks, lots of things that swing, and more than a dozen cargo nets.

The cargo nets on their own offer hours of fun!

From afar it might look like taking part in this type of fun requires no fear of heights, but we can assure you there are quite a few elements that allow visitors to stay closer to the ground.

Whatever your comfort level, you'll find something to enjoy but it's best to have at least a small spirit of adventure.

Just there to watch? There are plenty of seats to enjoy a snack and view the more adventurous antics of those in your group.

Safety is the most important part of a visit and the trained staff will get your group suited up and ready, explaining each safety measure in detail.

In addition to the adventure course, there's also an adventure zip line tour that includes three climbing elements (to get to the ziplines, of course) and six different ziplines ranging from 75 to 400 feet in length.

The adventure course and the adventure zipline tour can be enjoyed separately or try them both for a combo price.

Take Flight Aerial Adventure Park operates on weekends from late April through late June when summer hours begin. The park is open through early September.
