The Whole Family Will Love The Maze Of Trails At The Northlake Nature Center

Ready for a fun-filled day of nature trails that the entire family will enjoy? The Northlake Nature Center is ideal for families with kids of all ages, but it's also lovely for those times when you just want to be alone. Gas up the car, because today we are headed over to St. Tammany Parish to check out the trails at this scenic hidden gem.

You'll find the Northlake Nature Center in Mandeville, just down the street from Fontainebleau State Park.

Nestled along the beautiful Bayou Castine, Northlake Nature Center features 400 acres of untouched Louisiana beauty.

It's a calming and peaceful place that you may never want to leave!

There are over eight miles of trails at the nature center. All of the trails are under two miles, so you can mix and match to fit your schedule.

The trails will take you through the hardwood forests in quite an enchanted way. You'll feel miles away from it all as you traverse further into the different ecosystems.

The boardwalk trails give you access to parts of Louisiana's swamps and forests that you wouldn't be able to access otherwise.

And you'll have a front-row seat to some truly stunning scenery.

The Northlake Nature Center is open seven days a week.

You can experience this beauty for your self Sunday-Saturday from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m.
