Head out to the edge of Lake Pontchartrain, past the Southern Yacht Club to this beautiful lookout spot, also known as "the point". Great place for a first kiss.

This gorgeous old waterway is the perfect place to watch the sunset.
3) Couterie Forest, City Park
The only trail in the city proper, this little sliver of nature is a godsent for NOLA residents.
Longue Vue House and Gardens
The manicured gardens here are sure to bring joy into your heart.

So many amazing birds roost here and nurture their babies on the land.
