Welcome to the LSU Hilltop Arboretum, a 14-acre arboretum just six miles south of LSU.
The Arboretum grounds are open seven days a week from dawn until dusk, and admission is free!
It is important to note that the office and public restrooms are open Tuesday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The Arboretum has a beautiful collection of Louisiana native trees, shrubs, and flowers to admire.
And of course, the beautiful butterflies and hummingbirds love this spot, so keep your eyes peeled to see how many you can find along your walk.
