The Princess Cornblossom is the namesake of this beautiful waterfall. It is said she use to swim here herself, as the Cherokee thought the waterfalls were magical places, blessed by the Great Spirit.

Today, it remains a place to enjoy during the summer; the pool beneath the waterfall is a great place to swim. The water is so clean and clear!

The entire area, it seems, is blessed with an abundance of beauty. The two-mile trek to Princess Falls is one of the most scenic hikes in Kentucky!
