1. The Kentucky Taco Company - Louisville

Some of the best tacos in Louisville may be a bit difficult to track down, but they are so worth it. The Kentucky Taco Company is a traveling food truck (watch their Facebook page for their whereabouts) that serves "soul food on a tortilla." With a menu item like the Fried Chicken Mac & Beer Cheese Taco, it's the perfect addition to the taco scene in the Bluegrass State.

2. Taqueria Ramirez - 6910 Burlington Pike Florence, Kentucky 41042

Head to Northern Kentucky for fast and friendly service and some of the best tacos around. You'll find a vast menu, perfect chips and salsa and delicious drinks to wash it all down.

For some of the most authentic tacos in the state, stop into Tortilleria y Taqueria Ramirez, on the corner of an unassuming strip mall in Lexington. The tacos are fresh and the service is incredibly friendly. This is the type of place you'll want to visit again and again to try everything on their menu.

Enjoy a variety of flavorful tacos at La Cocina De Mama in Shelbyvile. The fish tacos are a standout, but they are all worth a sampling. Enjoy the colorful decor and the tasty tacos.
