12 Thoughts Every Kentuckian Has During An Epic Snowstorm
Kentuckians have varied reactions and thoughts when expecting an epic snow storm, ranging from excitement to panic.
Snow is pretty to look at, but not necessarily popular to drive in. The phrase "epic snow storm" in Kentucky varies according to person and location. Parts of the Bluegrass Sate recently got more than a foot of snow, and other areas received only a few inches. There are residents that panic at the very mention of snow, while others get excited the moment the white fluff begins to fall. Some people really flip out over driving in snow or ice, and raid the store for supplies days in advance so they can stay locked away, safe from the cold.
Here are 12 thoughts Kentuckians have when expecting an epic snow storm:
12. Our worst fears are of seeing nothing but white no matter where we look.
11. These basic necessities disappear off the shelves quickly when they announce snow. We stocked up on milk, bread, and wine.
10. When it comes to snow storms, the northern states say, Kentucky doesn’t get much snow. However since we don’t always get snow, an inch seems like a lot.
