If you're looking for fun things to do in Kentucky, then head to Kentucky Action Park in Cave City. This town is basically a vacation destination in the Bluegrass State and this Kentucky adventure park has it all. If you've ever been to Cave City then you have very likely seen this sign directing you to a popular attraction in Kentucky.

Kentucky Action Park is actually multiple attractions all at one fun-filled destination. If you're looking for a way to spend a few hours or even multiple days, you can do it all at this Kentucky park.

For a bit of adventure and an adrenaline rush, consider the chairlift and zip line.

You'll head up the hill and then enjoy zip lines and a swinging bridge, all of which have great views of the property. You'll even get a glimpse of the alpine slide as you ride up.

Like with many of the other attractions, a wide range of ages can participate.

Children as young as 3 can ride tandem with an adult and those over 70 lbs can go at it alone. Be sure to race down the twin zip lines for an exciting experience.

You'll want to ride back up the hill and also grab a ticket for the Alpine Slide.

It's the only one of its kind in Kentucky and has long been a favorite attraction in our state. Children must be 6 years old to ride and don't worry - you'll have control of your speed and brakes the entire time.

If you still feel the need for speed, head to the Go Cart track.

There are single and double carts, so all ages can go for a drive or a ride. If this is your favorite part of the park, purchase an all-day pass and drive around as much as you like.

On a hot day, definitely make your way over to the bumper boats.

Along with the boats, there are also bumper cars that offer an amazing view of the valley. In fact, your entire day spent here will be quite scenic.

For some downtime, test your skills on the mini golf course. This is a nice spot to take a break from the action.

All of these attractions do not require advanced reservations, just keep in mind that there may be a wait for some activities on especially busy days. If you are planning on visiting with a large group, definitely contact the park ahead of time.

This Kentucky park is also home to Jesse James Riding Stables, one of the largest and oldest stables in the state.

Children as young as 2 can ride (with an adult until they reach the age of 6), and everyone will fall in love with these gentle horses. Take off on the same land once traversed by Jesse James and enjoy yet another exciting attraction at this family-friendly park in Kentucky.
