Most of us probably aren't thinking about winter hikes in Kansas when temperatures drop below freezing. After all, the wind usually makes it unbearable anyway. However, this frozen waterfall in Kansas might be a big reason to leave the house this winter. You'll find the waterfall in the Cedar Creek area of Olathe, and it definitely belongs on your winter in Kansas bucket list.
When Kansas snows and freezes over, you're probably more worried about power lines and your local grocery than you are about nature.
Not only does this park area have a beautiful view of the water and this charming bridge, but you'll also find that each one of the three waterfalls are worth viewing while you're here.
