Cutting right through downtown, the trail runs for five miles on each side of the river. It's perfect for use by joggers, cyclists, and pedestrians. The entire trail boasts spectacular views of the serene Snake River.
The trail is used to link several city parks to Idaho Falls' historic downtown and destinations like Snake River Landing and Taylor Crossing. It can also be used to access myriad restaurants and shops in the bustling downtown area.
Easy access to the trail from adjacent roads and streets makes it easy to hop on the Greenbelt at any time and do some exploring. And with plenty of park benches, picnic tables, restrooms, and drinking fountains, exploring the paved path is suitable for young, old, and everyone in between.
