Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Atlanta is 30-acres of natural beauty that is perfect for both kids and adults. This preserve is open daily and is free to the public. Plus, there is a quarter-mile hike known as the Woodland Loop Trail that takes visitors to all of the best wildlife spots.

2. Anna Ruby Falls - Helen, Georgia

There are six different trails along Red Top Mountain State Park, but the one you want for you and your kids is the White Tail Trail. Visitors will traverse over small streams and through the woods, with tons of scenery throughout.
