Just one mile in length, the Toni Robinson Waterfront Trail in Florida is a little-known gem with incredible views of the Indian River Lagoon. You won’t need to spend all day here to enjoy this trail's natural beauty. Just carve out an hour or two and disappear into the mangroves and oak-filled walkways.

The Toni Robinson Waterfront Trail is part of the Indian River Land Trust that protects the land around the Indian River Lagoon.

This delightful trail is only a mile in length and is considered to be easy by many. There is a half-mile walk through an open scrub habitat surrounded by a stunning oak forest.

The other half-mile is a loop on an impoundment trail that includes strolling down an enchanting boardwalk through the mangroves, overlooking the lagoon.

Take some time at the end of the boardwalk to pause. This is where you’ll enjoy the best views of the lagoon and be able to take it all in.

The trail is open for both walking and bicycling. Motorized vehicles are not allowed. But you can bring your fur friends! Make sure you pick up after them and keep them on a leash throughout the hike.
