TaCaCo Alpacas of Delaware is owned and operated by Blair and Kelley Boyce, and they got the name of their farm from the first two initials of their grandchildren: Tatum, Caleb, and Colbie. The Boyces are committed to raising healthy, happy alpacas, and they'd love to introduce you to their herd!

The alpacas who call TaCaCo home are absolutely adorable. The farm is home to more than a dozen of these sweet animals.
Alpacas are social animals who prefer to live in herds. They grow to around 36 inches tall at the withers, and can weigh between 100 and 200 pounds. They love to eat fresh hay, and a little bit of grain.
Alpacas are well-known for their incredible fleece. The animals are shorn in the spring, and the fleece is spun into soft yarn that's perfect for knitting hats, scarves, clothing, and more. Alpaca fiber comes in 52 natural colors and is warmer than wool.
TaCaCo has its own store where you can buy yarn, clothing, and gifts. The store is closed during the summer, but is open by appointment.
Take a tour of the farm to meet the alpacas. You'll get a chance to say hello and feed them little pellet treats. Tours are free, but donations are welcome. You'll need to book your tour in advance.
TaCaCo is a great place to host your next birthday party. Guests will learn all about alpacas, and have the chance to meet and pet them.
The farm offers pizza, drinks, alpaca cupcakes and cookies, games, crafts, a pinata, and birthday decor. The birthday child also receives a stuffed alpaca toy.
